Hi, I’m Meshail, the founder and designer of Ruhani. Meaning “soulful” or “of the soul” in Urdu, Ruhani represents jewellery rooted in identity, heritage and meaning. Growing up in the South Asian diaspora, I wanted to create pieces that honoured my roots while fitting naturally into modern life. I designed each piece by reimagining the art and design traditions I grew up with in a contemporary way, so it can complement everything from everyday staples to traditional attire.
